Defining our path

What we should strive for is greatness. Greatness is nothing but becoming the best version of ourselves. We are the sum total of the impressions imprinted on our minds through our actions and thoughts. Of course, the rest is a combination of external factors. But the fact that we can control our thoughts and actions makes it our own responsibility to take care of our lives. We should be responsible because there is no one else to blame. Blaming someone else for our failure is a total waste of time. Once we accept the fact that without our involvement, nothing is possible, we'll take charge. It is that simple to observe.

Everyone is busy with their own life. If we expect someone to come and help us, we will be fooled until we realize it ourselves. Maybe we can find someone trying to help us, but they can't do it every time. They know that their own life is more precious. Humans are mostly selfish, but the layers of selfishness are what make the difference. We can alter this concept with ego too. There is no human without ego, but only the intensity of it matters.

Ego often tricks us into taking the path of others and won't let us carve our own path. Ego boosts our comparing mindset and makes us think that satisfying our ego is the true meaning of success. But what is really happening here is that we are attaching the meaning of happiness to our ego goals. We are losing our own identity there. An inborn talent of an artist is crushed by the peer pressure of corporate success. Ever since the dawn of human beings till now, this has been happening. And only a few who muster the courage to follow their heart make a meaningful living. They define what success is for them through the process of trial and error, and they are satisfied with it. That's what truly matters—our own satisfaction with our work. The realization that we are doing what we are born to do is one of the greatest joys in the world. They may not become successful in the eyes of the useless herd, but it doesn't matter as long as we are satisfied with that.

Courage often matters here as it means opposing the status quo. Courage is needed to face those who tell us what to do in our lives and to face the uncertainty that lies ahead. But that is the spirit and adventure that makes life worthwhile, rather than trying to satisfy someone else. We have to go through this. The path is simple, but not the process. Those who have achieved things in their life often went through this hard path—the path of discipline, perseverance, hard work, failure, and more. What is desperate is the fact that even after knowing what we should do, no one does it.

How fear is useful

There are two ways you can look at it. one is dangerous to yourself and the second is to others. In both cases, the only difference is where the fear is directed. Because with fear, you can do many things and make people do things for you. but once the fear is gone, then you won't necessarily get the desired outcome. Fear is only a motivator. It won't stay for long. Either you must increase the fear or find an alternative means.

Society can be a trap

There are lot of traps out there. Only after falling or getting out of that trap we realize that we were bondaged for a very long time. We were born into the society trap where everything is predefined. Everything is written and all we have to do is to obey them. We are not allowed to wander with our will and certainly not with any other rules. Predefined are the prime ones. When we look at those cultural scribings of activism, we could see that everything is limiting and designed to refrain is from our true potential. The hardest thing is not being unaware of this trap, it is being in the trap even after knowing you are in a trap. This makes us to think differently. Because we found something, probably, no one around found. It would be game changer for everyone. It could transform the society and culture, paving a more promising future for the generations to come. But what happen when we introduce this theory to those blind people is quite depressing. They mock and joke you, laugh a...
