From infancy to the geriatric days of our life the philosopies we subscribed and dissented made the whole bunch of years a life. It's common to hear from old people "I lived a fantastic life" with a smile and pride or "I'm a failure"with great regression or even they express displeasure with a frown and stare when asked how they lived their life. It takes a life time to put this in a nutshell. The reason why these saying goes so is a simple factor. The inability to spot the unwise advices. It doesn't need a cumbersome effort to account for good ones, but to embrace it there requires some effort. Seems bizzare. Why is that ?. Because it is itching and dreary boring. It takes tremendous amount of energy to put your instinct diligently forward, especially when you are told to do. We don't like when we're forced.
Wait a minute...
But what if you are not told to do anything? I mean anything.Let's have brief look,
After the very minute of your birth, the sister holding you won't tell you to stop crying and smile (Of course she says you are beautiful like your parents). You don't learn a single word.Even "dad" and "mom" since you hate when you are told to do. No one tells you to eat lunch or warns you to be careful. Your parents puts you in a decent schools where you meet real life monsters. Eventually you will kicked out of college (maybe even at school) for arrogance and becoming the flag bearer of narcissism. You palpably sucks in friendship and none have this yen for playing Tag with you. As you grow to manhood you get frustrated at everything happening around you. To make yourself snug from all this nonsense, you'll be forced to fix the injustice decreeing there. After the restless nights and day, you land at two options:
1. Flee from there and settle with like minded mobs who loves your ethics (which is highly hypothetical)
Or
2. Challenge the vesting interest in bolstering the status quo.
Chances are you merge with the second. You don't transit by creating like-minded herds who shares your why. Here you fail miserably since you sucks at making bonds. Again you get frustrated and literally screwed up.By now you burning with the unfairness and selfishness. Every folks on the street seems like to be punished.Every act they perform feels like the act of injustice. Then you painfully realize the truth that no one is coming to fettle this and you must carry out yourself. You start googling and googling, you never ends up at the perfect solution. But somewhere amid this research you hear your dogma saying the exact problem is not the system, but the people. Only their nonexistence leads to purification. They are the flue affecting the globe and there starts the termination. Ultimately you get caught by the cops and that's it. End of the untitled story.
This is a very simple interpretation of what might could happen. But the real case scenario is much worse !
It's transparently visible at this moment that there is no best way to fabricate a rotten life avoiding wise advices. Since people connect the wrong emotions with the word philosophy, they often misinterpret the meaning. They made the conclusion that philosophy can't be understood. Which to a certain extend believed to be true. Frankly speaking some of the lessons we read from Stoicism and Buddhism needs to be digested. It demands times and most importantly experience to learn.Because people think they are too busy they probably become a modern day hippie inclined to MY LIFE MY RULE until decades later realising that the rules they followed was completely wrong. Then you starts to become panic and try changing the principles. It can be elucidated as 'Drinking the water with an empty cup'. You wasted the foremost phases of your life believing in the shits you made yourself. The only (and foremost) thing everyone have is the time. Yet they waste it anyway.
None of us wanted this to happen. It's also true that none of us have the time to learn all the invaluable wisdom by our own experience. But they are at your fingertips.
Like Jim Rohn said "Success leaves clue", it's already in many forms. They are waiting ahead for your touch. Don't get frightened by things you don't know. Do not let yourself say "I should've listened" at the end. Most importantly stay away from the outside noise which puts you in a hike of believing I'm only right. Because when you hear yourself uttering that, chances aren't good. You might get pissed off soon.
Beware ...🙂
